On 21 January 2026, Father Agnel School, Noida, organised a special programme to mark the 157th birth anniversary of our revered Patron, Rev. Fr. Agnelo D'Souza. The event was dedicated to reflecting on his exemplary life and teachings, with special emphasis on his enduring virtues of love, humility, and selfless service to humanity.

This year's theme, "God's Voice Heard in Diverse Ways," beautifully captured the essence of spiritual unity. The esteemed guest speaker, Sadhvi Ruchika Bharti—a prominent preacher and disciple of Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, founder of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan—graced the occasion. Through her inspiring discourse and interactive activities, she enlightened the assembly, fostering greater understanding, mutual respect, and harmony among people of diverse faiths.

Rev. Fr. Carvalho, the Director of the school, addressed the students and staff with a heartfelt message. He highlighted the timeless relevance of Fr. Agnelo's teachings in today's world and underscored the importance of remaining steadfast in one's own faith while honouring the beliefs of others.

The programme featured several uplifting performances: a soulful rendition of "Ishwar Allah Wahe Guru" by the Hindi choir, an insightful presentation on the life of Fr. Agnelo by Head Boy Sakham Srivastava, a touching hymn "God Has Brought Us into His Fold" by the English choir, and the school hymn "O Brilliant Star."

The celebration concluded on a poignant note, with a renewed pledge by all Agnelites to embody Fr. Agnelo's teachings in their daily lives—promoting peace, respect, and interfaith harmony in every sphere.
