Ticket to Triumph

The auditorium of Father Agnel School, Noida reverberated with the sounds of buoyant music, vivid narrations, and dramatic voice-overs as the children of classes IV and V presented, “Ticket to Triumph”, a musical, based on Roald Dahl’s timeless masterpiece, on 9 December 2023, as part of their Annual Day celebrations. The program started at 9:30 a.m. with a welcome speech by the director, Fr. Carvalho, and the lighting of the lamp by the special guests.

After a quick introduction, the audience embarked upon a journey into the scrumdiddlyumptious world of Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory. Each scene was redolent of wonderment, fantasy, and adventure, synonymous with the imaginary world, children love to revel in. The children performed with panache and flamboyance. Both solo singers and the choir sang mellifluously, making it an hour of pure fun! The students opened a window into a whimsical world full of drama, dance, and music, as characters came to life in a story of hope, resilience, integrity, and honesty.

 The day’s events ended with the Director delivering his vote of thanks and applauding the children’s efforts. The children also received a standing ovation from the audience. The exhilarating show was an unforgettable experience and left a lasting impression on the minds of everyone present.
