Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony 2024

As the Board results came out this year in the month of May, for both classes 10 and 12, Father Agnel School Noida once again established itself as one of the premier educational institutes in the NCR. The achievers were felicitated in a grand event -the Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony, held in the school auditorium, on 27th July 2024. While toppers of the annual school exams from both the middle and the senior sections received prizes for their excellent results, the dazzlers of the event were definitely the stream toppers and subject toppers of CBSE -2024.

A total of 339 children were felicitated in multiple categories. 39 children from Class 10 Board exam had scored above 95%, while 61 children made their mark between 90-94%. Class 12, saw a whopping 37 subject toppers amongst whom 26 had a perfect 100 on their score cards in their respective subjects. 35 children from class 12 were felicitated for their brilliant performance in the boards, out of whom 29 had scored above 90% and 6 children made it beyond 95%.

Annika Chaturvedi (Humanities) was indeed the showstopper as she bagged not only the stream topper award but also made her alma mater proud by being the second topper in the State of UP and receiving the prestigious CM’s Medhavi Chhatra Samman. Ishaan Lakhchauria from class 10, also won the Medhavi Chhatra Samman for his sterling performance in the class 10th board exam. Prizes were given away by the Director Rev. Fr. Carvalho, Chief Guest Rev. Fr Bento, Principals of sister schools Fr Roy (FAS Delhi) and Sr. Navya (FAS Vaishali).

Director fr. Carvalho congratulated the achievers and made a moving appeal to the young generation ‘to rise above the ordinary’, despite the distractions and dearth of value systems in the contemporary world. Fr Bento inspired every one reiterating that ‘failure is not final’ and one must never let go of one’s dreams.

A mesmerizing platter of graceful dance and music performances by the respective departments held the audience glued to their seats. The programme concluded with a beautiful rendition of Mile Sur Mera Tumhara, and the resounding applauses of the audience.
