Celebrating Raksha Bandhan with CISF

As a heartfelt gesture of gratitude and respect towards the brave personnel who dedicate themselves to safeguarding our nation, the Social Welfare Ministry of Father Agnel School, Noida, organised a Rakhi distribution initiative at the CISF facility in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, on 25 August 2026.

The Rakhis were lovingly handmade by the students of Classes VI to X, who participated enthusiastically in the initiative. The visit provided an opportunity for the students to express their respect for the CISF personnel.

During the visit, the students tied the handmade Rakhis on the wrists of the CISF personnel, symbolising the bond of protection, respect and gratitude associated with Raksha Bandhan. The students also offered sweets to the personnel as a token of appreciation and shared a warm and memorable interaction with them.

The initiative served as a meaningful reminder that festivals such as Raksha Bandhan can extend beyond familial bonds and become an expression of gratitude towards those who work tirelessly for the safety and security of society. The visit was a memorable experience for the students and reinforced the values of empathy, respect, gratitude and social responsibility.
