Children’s Day

The teachers of Father Agnel School coordinated a delightful assembly on the occasion of Children’s Day, which was attended by a live audience of a large number of students after what seemed to be ages.

The event commenced with hymns and poems sung and recited by the teachers. This was followed by a magnificent medley of songs on the ‘Raga Yaman’ sung by the Hindi singing teachers.

The audience roared with enthusiasm at the several dance numbers that were performed, notably, a classical solo by Ma’am Seema, a fusion dance by Ma’am Trina and a contemporary dance by several Junior Wing teachers. However, the defining performance of the day was Ma’am Theodora and Ma’am Aprajita’s Bengali dance.

The program culminated with an affectionate address for the students by the Principal Mr. M. Lazar D. Asirvatham and Fr. Carvalho. The performances and the wonderful words were overwhelming for the students who realized how much they were loved and missed
