24.09.2025 : Arrival of German Students and Teachers

The German students and teachers were warmly welcomed at the airport as they arrived for the much-anticipated exchange program. With smiles, cheers, and heartfelt greetings, hosts greeted their guests holding welcome placards and flowers, creating a joyful and friendly atmosphere. The excitement was evident on both sides, as students and teachers eagerly began what promises to be a memorable cultural and educational journey

25.09.2025 : Visit to Delhi : Chandni Chowk and Jama Masjid

Teachers visited Chandni Chowk in Delhi and Jama Masjid and it is like stepping into a vibrant tapestry of history and culture. One of the oldest and busiest markets in the city, Chandni Chowk offers an unforgettable experience with its narrow lanes, bustling bazaars, and a rich blend of sights, sounds, and aromas. 26.09.2025 : Visit to Khoda school

The visit to Khoda School by the German students was a heartwarming and enriching experience for everyone involved. Upon arrival, the students were greeted with traditional hospitality, including a warm welcome by the staff and enthusiastic smiles from the local students. The German guests had the opportunity to tour the school, observe classrooms, and interact with students and teachers, gaining firsthand insight into the Indian education system.

Students also visited the area nearby to better understand the local community and its challenges. The students observed the resilience, warmth, and strong sense of community among the residents, despite the difficult living conditions.

Students arranged Mehndi for the German students and demonstrated various designs and techniques, including floral patterns and Arabic styles. Students actively took part, putting henna on each other's hands and showcasing their artistic talents

27.09.2025 : Yoga and Dance Class

German students participated in a yoga class, which offered them a peaceful and refreshing experience rooted in Indian tradition. The session introduced them to basic yoga postures, breathing techniques, and the philosophy behind this ancient practice. The calm atmosphere and rhythmic flow of movements allowed the students to relax, stretch, and connect with their inner selves.

The German students had a wonderful opportunity to participate in a classical dance class, offering them a glimpse into the rich artistic heritage of India. They were introduced to the basic steps, hand gestures (mudras), and expressions that are central to classical dance forms like Bharatanatyam and Kathak. The students were fascinated by the grace, rhythm, and storytelling involved in the movements, and eagerly tried to follow along. The session was not only fun and interactive but also deeply cultural, allowing the students to connect with Indian traditions in a creative and engaging way.

We organized a vibrant and colorful Dandiya Night in the evening to celebrate the festive spirit of Navratri. The venue was beautifully decorated with traditional elements like fairy lights, rangoli, and colorful drapes, creating a lively atmosphere. Guests arrived in stunning traditional attire, adding to the charm of the event. The evening began with energetic music and a short Garba tutorial to get everyone in the groove.

28.09.25 to 2.10.25: Dussehra Holidays

During the Dussehra break, the German students made the most of their time in India by exploring some of the country's most beautiful and culturally rich destinations – Jaipur, Udaipur , Jim Corbett and many more. In Jaipur, they marveled at the royal architecture of the Pink City, visiting iconic landmarks like the Amer Fort, City Palace, and Hawa Mahal. Udaipur, known as the City of Lakes, offered a more serene experience with its stunning palaces, boat rides, and scenic views. The adventure continued at Jim Corbett National Park, where students enjoyed the thrill of a jungle safari and the chance to spot wildlife in their natural habitat. The trip was a perfect blend of history, culture, and nature, leaving the students with unforgettable memories of India’s incredible diversity

3.10.25 : Cooking and painting class

As part of our continued cultural exchange and friendship with the former German exchange students, a series of engaging activities were organized during their recent visit. These activities aimed at strengthening international bonds, promoting cultural learning, and providing enriching experiences for all participants

1. Cooking Activity:

One of the highlights of their visit was a cooking session held at the school. Students from both countries collaborated to prepare traditional dishes from India and Germany. This interactive session provided a hands-on learning experience, where students not only shared recipes but also discussed the significance of food in their respective cultures. The activity concluded with a joyful meal shared by all, celebrating diversity and friendship.

2. Painting Workshop:

A painting activity was organized to encourage artistic expression and cross-cultural creativity. Students created artworks. It was a vibrant and colorful experience. The final artworks were displayed as part of a small exhibition in the school gallery.

4.10.25 : Delhi Tour: Qutub Minar, Delhi Haat

To provide a glimpse into the rich heritage of India, a Delhi city tour was arranged. The group visited iconic landmarks such as Qutub Minar, Delhi Haat and Janpath Market. They also explored local markets and enjoyed authentic Indian street food. The tour gave the students a deeper understanding of India's history, architecture, and urban culture.

6.10.25 : Football Match and Regular school

German students and Indian students had a football match in the morning. After a spirited football match, the students entered the classroom with renewed energy and focus.

7.10.25 : Trip to Taj Mahal and Agra Fort

A trip to Agra offers an unforgettable blend of history, culture and vibrant street life. Taking a bus ride at 3:00 a.m and Waking up early to catch the first rays of the sun illuminating the iconic Taj Mahal. The students embarked on an unforgettable trip to Agra, where their highlight was exploring the magnificent Agra Fort.

Wandering through the red‑sandstone halls of Agra Fort just a short walk away, you’ll sense the echoes of emperors and the vast empire they ruled.

8.10.25 : Regular school

The students joined their Indian peers in a lively classroom session where, after attending academic classes together, they shifted gears to rehearse for the upcoming cultural programme.

They practiced traditional dance steps, smiled as they aligned formations and helped one another perfect their rhythm and timing. The atmosphere was friendly and collaborative.

9.10.25 : Cultural Programme by Gymnasium Gars

The students from the Bavarian‑school presented a vibrant cultural programme that brought to life the rich legacy of Bavarian folk traditions. Dressed in authentic Lederhosen and Dirndl, they performed a dynamic dance.

Through the dance, the students didn’t just entertain—they offered a living experience of Bavaria celebrating both tradition and togetherness in one memorable performance.

10.10.25 : Bid adieu to our German friends

We gathered in the school, loaded the luggage onto the bus, and escorted the German delegates to the airport. There was a quiet sense of fond farewell as the group sat together on the ride, reflecting on the cultural exchanges, classes attended, and shared moments from their stay. At the terminal drop‑off, we helped unload their bags, bid them warm goodbyes, and wished them a safe journey home.
