INDEPENDENCE DAY 2026 Honouring Freedom, Inspiring the Future

The 80th Independence Day celebration of Agnel School, Noida, was held on 14 August 2026 at the school ground with marked enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. Centred on the theme “Atmanirbhar Bharat,” the programme proceeded with dignity and reflected the ideals of freedom, unity and self-reliance.

It began with a formal introduction, followed by the prayer led by the Principal. The singing of “Vande Mataram” deepened the sense of national pride. The flag-hoisting ceremony and National Anthem formed a solemn and memorable moment. The pledge administered by the Head Boy reaffirmed collective commitment to the nation, after which the Head Girl delivered an eloquent address on the significance of independence and civic responsibility.

An insightful address by the Director, Rev. Fr. Carvalho, offered thoughtful reflections on freedom, duty and nation-building. The subsequent prize distribution recognised students’ achievements and efforts. An informative speech by Ma’am Shaifali and a graceful dance performance on “Vande Mataram” further enriched the proceedings.

 

The programme concluded successfully through the coordinated efforts of students, teachers and organisers. The occasion stood as a meaningful tribute to the nation’s freedom and reinforced the resolve to contribute to a self-reliant and progressive India.
