INVESTITURE CEREMONY

 

"Leadership is about vision and responsibility, not about power".

To embark the journey of another promising and fruitful year, The Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2021-22 was held on the 25th of June.

The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp virtually, followed by a hymn and the Principal’s address which encouraged the newly elected leaders to be dutiful and responsible. Reverend Father Carvalho administered an oath to the leaders who were brimming with pride and ready to lead the school with utmost passion and conviction. 

The former head boy Kinshuk Kandpal and head girl Aleena K.Tom shared their respective experiences of the trials and tribulations they faced during their journey and how they stood dauntless in the face of adversity, being the first parliament to completely function online. This was followed by the address of the newly elected head boy Jyotiraditya Pati and head girl Riddhima Chauhan, who pledged to give their best and dedicated efforts. Finally, Father addressed the students and congratulated the newly elected parliamentarians, who like their predecessors, have dared to believe to spread their wings and rise above the ordinary like the ‘Thalasseus Bengalensis’.
