Extended Raksha bandhan activity- Preschool

Raksha Bandhan is a cherished Indian festival celebrating the bond between brothers and sisters. It involves tying a rakhi (a decorative thread) by the sister on her brother's wrist, symbolizing her love and prayers for his well-being, while the brother pledges to protect and support her. The significance of this festival extends to the people who safeguard and protect us.

Keeping this in mind an activity was planned for the Pre nursery and Nursery children on the 14th August'24. Invite was extended to Ms. Rekha Gautam ,our parent who is a police officer, Ma'am Salomi, school's Medical officer, Nitish and Rakesh Bhaiya from the Transport team, Ashok bhaiya from the school security team and Reena Didi, our support staff - as representatives of the people who ensure the safety of the children on a day to day basis. These personnel were introduced to the children during the special assembly. Few children from each section tied rakhi on them as a symbol of gratitude for their duties.
