Rakhi Distribution - Report

19 / Aug

As a heartfelt gesture of gratitude and compassion, the students of the Social Welfare Ministry visited a police station and an old age home on 8 August 2025 to tie rakhis to them on the occasion of Rakshabandhan. The rakhis were curated by the students , using eco -friendly material.

This thoughtful initiative aimed to extend the spirit of Raksha Bandhan beyond classrooms and into the wider community. By tying these handmade rakhis on the wrists of police personnel, students expressed their deep respect for their tireless service. It was a small yet meaningful way to express gratitude for their unwavering dedication.

Similarly at the old age home, the gesture revived fond memories of family and tradition. The simple act of tying a rakhi became a symbol of connection, care, and the message that can never be forgotten. It reminded them that they are valued, loved, and still an important part of our shared community spirit.
