Date: 14th July 2025
Venue: School Auditorium

The Bastille Day celebrations were held in our school on 14th July 2025 with great enthusiasm and cultural spirit. The event aimed to highlight the importance of French culture and history, commemorating the French Revolution and the values of liberty, equality and fraternity.

The programme began with a brief introduction explaining the significance of Bastille Day and its historical context. The audience was then invited to stand for the prayer followed by few performances highlighting the cultural essence of France.

A series of performances by students brought the essence of France to life.

- A French quiz segment that engaged the audience and tested their knowledge of French culture and history.

- Various other soulful songs beautifully portraying the rich culture of France.

The celebrations concluded with a vote of thanks which expressed gratitude to the Principal, Headmistress, teachers and all participants for making the event a memorable one. The programme ended on an intellectual note highlighting how we can apply the values of the French in our daily lives.

Overall, the Bastille Day celebration was a resounding success, not only showcasing the talents of our students but also fostering appreciation for global cultures and the spirit of revolution and freedom that Bastille Day represents.
