Independence Day has a special place in the heart of every Indian. Not only does it symbolize the celebration of years of Freedom but also extends an emphatic message of the progressive future of our country.
The little ones celebrated the same on 10th August.A special assembly was organized wherein they poured out their hearts when they sang to the tune of patriotic songs like ‘Hum Bharatwasi hain" and "Love my country India".
The children were educated by explaining that the Independence Day of our country is celebrated on 15th of August of every year because India became a free and independent nation on 15th August 1947.
The children were all ears when they were told stories about how our great leaders fought and won our freedom from the British rule.
Furthermore, they also did tear and paste in the National flag with full zest and enthusiasm.
Also, they brought tricolour food in tiffins and ate the scrumptious food with joy.
