Special Assembly on Dussehra, Durga Puja and German Exchange

Father Agnel School, Noida, organised a special assembly to celebrate the festivals of Dussehra and Durga Puja, along with a cultural exchange programme with our visiting German students and teachers.

The programme began with the lighting of the lamp, invoking divine blessings, followed by a soulful prayer and hymn. Students presented a series of performances including a Ganesh Vandana, a devotional song to Durga Maa, a graceful Manipuri dance, and a dynamic classical dance Garaj Garaj. Each performance beautifully highlighted India’s spiritual heritage and cultural richness.

Adding a global dimension, our German exchange students were warmly welcomed, and one of our students, Manya Anand, shared her enriching experiences from her visit to Germany earlier this year.

The assembly concluded with the Indian and German national anthems, symbolising respect, unity, and international friendship. Through this celebration, students were reminded of the timeless message of these festivals, the victory of good over evil, and the power of truth, courage, and compassion.
