The tree plantation drive

31 / Jul

In the pursuit of sustainable development and environmental preservation, the social welfare ministry organised a tree plantation drive on the 31st of July 2023.
This drive was initiated to address not only the challenges of deforestation but also to instil a positive spirit of active participation among the students. It also was an opportunity to plant the saplings of change while enjoying the beauty of nature.
The tree plantation drive took place on a beautiful morning at a designated site in sector 62, where a group of teachers and around 200 students, together planted 250 saplings in all. The atmosphere was vibrant and filled with excitement and enthusiasm, as participants planted a variety of saplings, such as Neem, Jamun, Guava, Mango etc. Each sapling symbolized a commitment to fostering a greener future.
The joy and positivity were palpable throughout the journey, as smiles lit up every face as the saplings were planted, contributing to the enrichment of our environment.
The tree plantation drive was an overwhelming success, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of the participants. It not only enhanced the diversity of flora but also acted as a catalyst for building a stronger sense of community. The cheerful and positive atmosphere encouraged teamwork, unity, and a profound understanding of the importance of our environmental responsibilities. As we revel in the colourful fruits of our labour, we carry forward the inspiration from this delightful event to continue nurturing Mother Nature.
